Electronic Audio Experiments Prismatic Wall
Prismatic Wall from Electronic Audio Experiments is a sympathetic resonator that allows your instrument or audio to create delicate blooms of sound that support your playing and add dynamic textures. Using a variation on Karplus-Strong physical modeling, the Prismatic Wall has a four octave range and four modes that allows for different interval spacings. Move from Unison/Overtone, to stacked Neutral Thirds—a quarter tone between a major and minor; from Stacked Fifths to Chromatic, where all material can excite the resonators creating a dense, atonal sound.
To sculpt the sound, we can use the Drive knob to give the signal a little edge, as well as the Dampening to make the sound a bit darker and the Decay, which can allow the strings to gently resonate, ring out, or start to feedback. A built-in LFO with Rate and Amount controls lets you add modulation to Tune (by default) but you can assign that to any parameter. Choose between a more predictable sine wave, or a random wave for flavorful options. If that wasn't enough, a Morph function with built-in Aux footswitch lets you jump smoothly between two pedal states or you can plug in an expression pedal to slowly sweep between the two different settings.
Prismatic Wall from Electronic Audio Experiments is a fantastic tool not just for guitar, but for any audio source that can transform anything into a swirling pool of overtones, otherworldly resonating excitements, and anything in between.
