Module A-134 is a voltage controlled panner that's also adept at crossfading. In the first configuration, a single audio signal can be panned to two separate outputs; in the latter, two external audio signals are mixed to a single output. This functionality enables stereophonic panning effects, crossfading effects, and amalgamations therein.

Internally, the module houses two linear VCAs, with the second working in the opposite direction such that whenever the first VCA's volume decreases, the volume of the second increseas and vice versa. Crossfading and panning can be manipulated as needed either mannually (with the dedicated knob) or remotely (via control voltage).
