Der Mann mit der Maschine M4

The Droid ecosystem gets a huge upgrade with the M4 motorized fader controller from Der Mann mit der Maschine that gives you four faders with haptic feedback. Power has always been the main issue when it comes to using motorized components in the Eurorack system with typical faders drawing up to 800mA each at their peak. Der Mann fixes this problem by adding a super cap power tank for each fader that stores the power needed for moving the fader, since they only need that power for a short spurt. The main use for these faders is to assign them to multiple roles and working in conjunction with a button interface you can easily switch between roles with the faders picking up where you left off.

There is also a haptic feedback motor built in so you can have virtual notches for a filter or sequence letting you know when you are in the perfect position. Other applications could be a series of ADSRs or CV presets. Below each fader is an LED and touch button. If you have a Droid setup, the M4 from Der Mann mit der Maschine is an incredibly useful tool and it's just plain fun to see faders move on their own.
