Cyclone Analogic Bass Bot TT-303 Mk3
It's no secret that Roland's TB-303 is one of the most beloved synthesizers of all time, and Cyclone Analogic's Bass Bot TT-303 Mk2 reimagines the classic instrument with new features. This compact device is a one-way ticket to achieve the acid-style basslines and melodies we've all come to know and love from the 303, but with updated approaches to crafting sequences and greatly expanded memory to store all of your best ideas.
Sonically, you better believe that the TT-303 captures the essence of the original. It sports a single VCO with selectable sawtooth or square waveforms, followed by a resonant, diode-ladder filter that is just as squelchy as you remember. But it's really the sequencer that brings the Bass Bot to life, providing accents and slides as you'd find on the classic 303, as well as two new Mute and Hammer features, emulating palm muting and hammer-on or pull-off gestures a real bass player might do. There's also extended pattern step ranges, and many different ways to program sequences, with step or live modes.
To fit into modern studios with ease, TT-303 also supports MIDI I/O and sports a number of dedicated CV and audio outputs for working with modular synthesizers or other control voltage instruments. Whether you're crafting fiery basslines in the studio or on the stage, the Bass Bot TT-303 is well-equipped to let your ideas flow.
