Mr. Phil Ter might indeed be a witty name for a filter, but with a little help from their friends at Pittsburgh Modular, Cre8audio packed an abundance of functionality to form a complete synth voice when paired with just about any oscillator. Pittsburgh Modular supplied the analog portions of this module, containing a robust low-pass ladder filter design reminiscent of the classic Moog sound, and a clean, reliable VCA. There's also a digital envelope generator, with controls for Attack, Sustain, and Release providing shared control over simultaneous fast and slow outputs, with times ranging from zero to five or ten seconds respectively. They say one can never have too many VCAs, and when you pack in a stellar filter and envelope generator as well, you'd be hard pressed to pass on a module like Mr. Phil Ter.
