Cellz is a dual touch-plate voltage generator from Cre8audio that offers both touch-based and triggered sequencing options. It features two channels, each with a gate and CV output. Sixteen touch plates can be “fed” or tuned to two 12-bit values using the two potentiometers: the outputs can be either freely scaled or quantized to semitones. These CV values can be played back using the touch pads or sequenced using the two trigger inputs. One trigger input advances the output by rows, and the other by columns. Touching a pad will automatically advance the output to that spot, so using this in conjunction with the trigger inputs can result in some dynamic, evolving sequences. If multiple pads are touched at once, Cellz will begin to arpeggiate between the selected pads.
