The N22H from Cranborne Audio is a reference-grade headphone amplifier and C.A.S.T. cable manager, that is the perfect addition to a studio that uses other C.A.S.T.-enabled Cranborne devices. The C.A.S.T. system transfers audio over Cat-5e, Cat-6, or Cat-7 cable, allowing you to reduce cable clutter and use runs up to 100m/330'. Signals present at the inputs travel through the Cat cable, as well as signals coming from the host C.A.S.T. device. A reference-grade headphone amplifier gives you direct monitoring of these signals. This works great for communication between the control room and a recording booth, allowing bidirectional audio transfer and monitoring over one cable. Power the headphone amplifier either from an external 9V power supply or with an internal 9V battery. It features both high and low power modes, each suited for different use cases. The C.A.S.T. system also transfers phantom power, with up to four power lines simultaneously. Mount the N22H directly to a mic stand, thanks to the 3/8" thread mount on the bottom of the unit.
