The Camden EC2 from Cranborne Audio provides a two-channel preamp, reference headphone monitor, and two-mode saturation circuit that delivers everything from the cleanest, most linear amplification to deliciously saturated goodness. It features two Camden preamps that offer ultra-clean gain with less than 0.00025% THD+N and a max phase shift of fewer than six degrees at max gain (68dB) across a 20Hz-20kHz range. The incredibly wide frequency response ranges from less than 1Hz to over 1000kHz at 35dB of gain and less than 5Hz to over 200kHz at the max gain level. Each channel features inputs on both XLR and front-panel 1/4" TRS for line/high-Z sources. A link through port allows for parallel processing or reamping of the input signal. Connect the EC-2 to your other Canborne Audio equipment using the C.A.S.T. system. This system transmits audio over Cat-5e, Cat-6, or Cat-7 cables to reduce cable clutter, increase usable cable distance, and simplify unifying your studio.

Monitor both preamps from the reference-grade headphone drivers that deliver the same high-performance, low noise operation as the rest of the preamp. In addition to the incredibly clean and linear performance, the EC2 offers a Mojo circuit per channel with two saturation modes. Thump provides transformer-style saturation that boosts odd/even harmonics below 160Hz to excite low-frequency content. While Cream delivers tube-style saturation that reduces the fundamental frequencies while boosting odd/even harmonics. The Camden EC2 offers unmatched clarity and noise-free performance while at the same time able to add saturation to allow your recordings to stand out in the mix.
