Boss HM-2W Waza Craft Heavy Metal Distortion Pedal

Specialized in searing tones and blazing distortion, the monumental Boss Heavy Metal returns in Waza Craft form as the HM-2w, promising maximum brutality on guitars, bass, or any other instrument. Even if Swedish Death Metal isn't your forte, the HM-2 was held in high regard by musicians across genres, and like all of the Waza Craft projects, brings back everything that was loved on the original while also packing in some welcome enhancements for additional versatility. As far as controls are concerned, the HM-2w is about as straightforward as it gets—Level and Distortion set the balance of volume and gain, while a two-band EQ with Low and High controls defines the tonal characteristics of the pedal. At the top of the pedal near the DC barrel jack, Boss has added a recessed switch to swap between the classic, "Standard" HM-2 voicing, whereas a new, "Custom" mode with more aggression and enhanced definition keep the HM-2w relevant in a metal world that looks a lot different since production ceased on the original in 1991. Crank up the gain and melt faces with the Boss HM-2w.
