Eighteen from Black Lion Audio is a channel strip that provides everything you need to make your sounds shine. It delivers aggressive mid range and smooth, rich character to both low and top end sounds. It uses two discrete op amps, one on the input and one on the output with 35dB of gain apiece for a total of 70dB of gain. The output stage also features custom Cinemag transformers for a vintage feel. An EQ with custom Cinemag inductor comes between the input and output stages and features an on/off button. Both a high pass at 80Hz and a low pass filter at 10kHz are available on push buttons to tailor the sound to your needs. With rich saturation from transformers and discrete op amp design, Eighteen packs a formidable punch.
