Benson Amps Germanium Fuzz

Promising the power of a germanium-driven fuzz without all the inconsistencies is the Benson Amps Germanium Fuzz. Unlike most pedals in this category, Germanium Fuzz features a unique temperature controlled circuit that detects any anomalies in the transistor's bias, making it stable to play without having issues of drops or temperature sensitivity. Before playing, the Germanium Fuzz needs a moment to warm up, displayed by the amber light—once the light is green, it's good to go! The two color options are not only stylish choices that'll fit any pedalboard, but actually work for different purposes based on how they adjust to sunlight. The Studio Black finish is meant more for indoors and studio usage while the Solar White finish can handle outdoor and live settings more efficiently.

To make up for the issues Germanium fuzz pedals deal with different pickups and buffer pedals, Germanium Fuzz implements a Class-A input buffer before the gain stage as well as a pickup simulator to combat incompatibility of low input impedance. Additionally, the Impedance control placed after the pickup simulator circuit simulates adjusting your guitar volume, great for achieving that classic guitar sparkle. With tons of interactivity between Impedance and Gain to get your tones from sweet clean boosts to massive distortion and fuzz, Germanium Fuzz from Benson Amps is one of the most flexible and stable germanium-based fuzz pedals to add to your pedal board.
