Behringer RD-6
The RD-6 from Behringer is a great sounding analog drum machine takes inspiration from classic drum machines used in the early heyday of electronic dance music. It features eight huge-sounding analog drum voices, each with individual outputs, as well as mix controls. These are routed into an analog distortion, based off of the DS-1, which imparts grit and even more harmonic interest.
The low tom and high tom each have trigger outputs associated with them, as well as a sync input and output, allowing the RD-6 to interface with other hardware instruments. An onboard 16-step sequencer can be used to bring your tracks to life, with 32 separate patterns which can be chained up to 256 bars long. In addition to manually entering patterns into the sequencer, they can be randomly generated, which is a fantastic way to get inspiration when you're trying to come up with a beat.
This great sounding drum machine is a great addition to other Behringer gear such as the TD-3, letting you put together a classic sounding setup.
