Behringer 110
Combining the essential building blocks of synthesis, the 110 from Behringer brings together a VCO, VCF, and VCA, creating an all-in-one synthesizer voice. Select the overall VCO octave with the range switch and then fine tune with the pitch knob. Three waveforms are available, triangle, sawtooth, and pulse, with adjustable pulse width and external modulation. The VCO's pitch can be modulated from external sources using the two mod inputs. Turning the CV attenuator all the way up will result in the oscillator tracking 1V/oct.
The VCO's output is normalled into the first filter input, with a second input available for external signals. The VCO's normalization into the first input can be overridden by inserting a patch cable. The VCF is a low pass filter with cutoff and resonance controls, plus two CV inputs with attenuators. One of these CV inputs is normalled into the CV input of the VCA. In addition, the output of the filter is normalled into the VCA, with a second input for other external signals. The starting volume level can be set with the initial gain knob, allowing the VCA to drone without the need for external sources. The VCA has two outputs, high and low which each have a different output impedance. Useful as a modular synthesis starting point, or as a way to add another voice to your established system, the 110 provides a complete synthesizer voice.
