A*B+C V2 from Befaco is a revitalized version of one of the most beloved utility modules in all of Eurorack, offering a one-stop shop for voltage multiplication, addition, and attenuation to enable multifarious musical possibilities. Two identical channels offer the same simple formula, multiplying signals at the A and B inputs and then adding a third signal from the C inputs. B and C inputs are normalled to provide 5 Volts when left unpatched, enabling you to process individual signals or a group of inputs to derive versatile results with both audio and CV. Combining these elements in a patch, A*B+C enables audio processing from linear VCA duties to ring modulation, and sculpts CV signals in style as a voltage-controlled attenuator, mixer, inverter, or offset generator.

Adding even more patching versatility, the B and C inputs can be multiplied by a factor of one, two, or negative one using the three position switches beside each control knob. Using the Mode switch, you can have the input at A1 normalled to A2 in Mult mode, enabling you to effortlessly create two variations on a single CV signal. This is perfect for crafting different CV sequences that retain relevance to a common signal, letting you create musical movement in your patch that is complex yet comprehensible. In Mix mode, both channels are mixed together at the mix output, enabling complex transformations of the original signals. This mixing normalization is broken if you connect to both outputs in Mix mode, empowering dramatic changes with live patching.
