Bananana Effects' Mandala pedal is a glitch effect like no other, sized like no other, and with eight modes of audio manipulation from stutters, to pitch-shifting, competes with no other. One of the best ways to utilize this pedal is by using it in momentary mode so it only engages when you press the footswitch, giving you interesting bits of repeated sound. The eight modes offered are Repeat, Random, Reverse, Trigger—which has an envelope trigger the effect based on your playing; Square Trigger and Square, both of which take the audio and convert it into a square wave oscillator tone. Finally two pitch shifting effects: Up and Down, which will just shift your audio up or down. Once again, Bananana Effects brings us interesting sounds in a small package and the Mandala might be the most strange of them all.
