The laser sight makes it simple to get optimal microphone positioning for drum heads or other instruments that you need miked. The cardioid polar pattern aids this, only picking up sounds in front of the microphone while rejecting sounds from the sides and rear. The combination of its stellar off-axis rejection with the built-in laser targeting system makes this a tremendously useful tool for maintaining consistency between recording sessions, as well as ensuring optimal mic placement for any source.
Get the perfect sound for your music with the three voice modes, vintage, modern, and hybrid, each suited to different applications. Tailor the microphone to your room and input signals with the two highpass filters and -10/-20dB pad. The nonlinear voltage/current source rectification provides natural, smooth, and open amplification.
