Arturia updates their Keylab Essential lineup with Mk3 editions, and the Keylab Essential 49 MK3 packs a whole lot into a relatively small package. Drawing from their smaller siblings, the essentials now feature a Scale Mode, which will quantize your playing to a particular scale, a Chord Mode like the one found on the KeyStep 37 that generates chords with selectable amount of chord tones, and a fully-featured Arpeggiator. Along with that, you get an elegantly redesigned housing that is environmentally conscious, using a minimum of 40% post-consumer material to build the devices, fully recyclable packaging—reducing their material carbon footprint by 18%.
