And if you ever need more channels, 16 additional I/O channels via optical ADAT are just a few Toslink cables away. 12 line outputs ensure you can connect your monitors, secondary monitors, and an array of outboard gear as needed. As a bonus for the modular folks out there, eight of these outputs are TRS DC-coupled, making them well-suited for transmitting control voltages from Ableton Live's CV Tools, Bitwig's The Grid, and other environments such as Max/MSP.
To make all of this possible, AudioFuse 16Rig boasts a straightforward front-panel interface for monitoring and controlling channels. While connected to a computer you can make use of the AudioFuse Control Center software to make routing settings even faster, and store configurations to the unit itself for recall in standalone mode. And this isn't just for audio—AudioFuse 16Rig is an impressive MIDI interface as well, sporting 5-pin DIN In and Out/Thru ports plus a dedicated USB-MIDI host port.
