Antelope Audio Edge Note

Antelope Audio continues their series of modeling microphones with Edge Note, a small-diaphragm condenser which supports over a dozen different classic mic profiles. Small-diaphram condensers are frequently used for tracking horns, strings, and drum overheads—often in pair configurations. This variety of applications requires a wide frequency response and dynamic range, and thankfully the Edge Note can handle them all with ease. Its impressive 146 dB SPL isn't afraid of a hard-hitting drummer, and it may be further tuned to a source through onboard highpass filtering and pad switches.

Edge Note supports thirteen different mic emulations, handled directly through an Antelope Synergy Core interface or as a native plugin within any DAW. With the former option, you can track with the sound of any classic microphone right then and there with no latency, but the latter allows for you to swap different characters on any captured dry audio. Modeling isn't just for guitarists anymore—grab an Edge Note (or two) and change your recording game.
