Analog Music Company's SHSL, short for So High So Low, is a rich source of character and grit, combining a Moogerfooger-inspired preamp with MS-20-style lowpass and highpass filters into one pedal. Like the Korg MS-20 that inspired it, SHSL features independent cutoff and resonance controls for both filters, allowing you to carve away or emphasize frequencies as needed and create custom bandpass filter configurations. There are even expression and control voltage inputs to modulate both filters via external sequencers, Eurorack modules, or other sources of CV. As for the preamp, input saturation and output level controls let you dial in the SHSL as needed—most likely as a rich source of distorted color. Regardless of which instrument you play, the SHSL can offer worlds of timbre and tone to your rig.
