An update of the multifaceted C1000S, this small-diaphragm condenser microphone has a wide range of applications. Useful for live recordings and video production, this versatile microphone can fit all the needs of an audio professional. If no phantom power is available, it can be powered from two AA batteries for up to 120 hours of operation. A bass-cut switch and switchable -10dB pad are available on the C1000s mk4 for fine control of the incoming audio. Three different frequency settings are available to further tailor the microphone to specific speed and instrument sounds. The polar pattern of the C1000s mk4 can be changed between cardioid and hyper-cardoid to switch up the sensitivity and direction of the microphone’s response. It has gold sputtered capsule and XLR pins which help protect against humidity.
