Akai MPD226
The Akai MPD226 is a USB MIDI Controller ideal for a wide array of applications, including producing and programming. It achieves a useful balance between MPC-style control, plug-and-play operation, and portability that make it one of the most intuitive controllers for musicians on the go or with a limited amount of studio space.
The front panel interface consists of 16 RGB velocity-and-pressure-sensitive pads, 4 assignable faders, 4 assignable Q-Link knobs, and 4 assignable Q-Link buttons. Additionally, there are 4 pad banks for a total of 64 different sounds, and 3 fader/knob/button banks for a total of 36 assignable controls.
