The ADDAC611 Gotharman’s VC Tube Filter is an adaptation of the Tubaz Filter by Gotharman that adds a lot of sonic character and grit to anything you might want. It is not an ideal bandpass filter, more like a “band-add” filter; because of its high gain it allows bleedthrough of harmonics above and below the cutoff frequency that a standard bandpass filter may cut out. There are three inputs with input level that adds up to 2x gain, plus drive control which allows for up to x11 gain that also features CV control with attenuverter. With nothing patched into input three, it acts as a feedback control of the bandpass output. There are also controls for mix, cutoff and resonance each with CV inputs and attenuverters. Outputs include mix, bandpass, lowpass, and highpass, with level controls and phase inversion switch for mix and bandpass. The tubes used in the ADDAC611 were built in the 70’s and sourced by ADDAC, so no two units sound the same.
