More than just a passive lowpass gate, Abyss Devices' LPG gives you two handmade vactrols that have been carefully selected for similar response times, along with other unique options. The top lowpass gate's CV and input are normalized to the bottom making it easy to spread out your signal, or split a mono sound into a stereo spread. Both channels feature dedicated Fall trimmers on the front letting you dial in a snappy, quick response, or a long ~2s long decay. Each vactrol is installed in a socket making it easy to experiment with other types and a dip switch on the back lets you bypass the fall trimmer completely so you can hear the pure response curve of the vactrol. A small SMD trimmer on the back adjusts the high frequency cut control and the output is muted when no CV is present. At just 2hp, this is a handy, musical sounding, feature-rich LPG that can be customized to your liking.
