2HP's NSE is a noise generator module with a variable sample rate and VCA mode.

Set the module to VCA mode to have signals sent to the trigger input affect the amplitude of the emitted noise. In this configuration, the sample rate knob presides over the decay length, facilitating easy creation of various percussive sounds.
