Wavefonix 1847 Wavetable Oscillator

Wavefonix's 1847 Wavetable Oscillator is a highly morphable oscillator sporting a separate sub-oscillator, bitcrushing, and loads of CV inputs. At its core, the 1847 packs 16 unique waveshapes and blends between them as a wavetable, which can be handled manually or via external CV with an included attenuator. The complementary sub-oscillator is just as versatile with eight available waveshapes, four different octaves to choose from PER waveshape, a CV input and attenuator to scan through the shapes and octaves, an FM input, and, best of all, a dedicated output for individual post-processing.

As fascinating as that may be, the main oscillator still packs a ton of control for shaping with dedicated frequency modulation along with a bitcrusher, smashing the bits from eight all the way down to one—both of which have CV inputs for loads of modulation capabilities. The 1847's sound is lofi thanks to the 8-bit cap, giving it a distinct and crispy flavor that you can't achieve with many other pristine modules. Easily track the pitch with a dedicated 1V/Oct input along with never drifting out of pitch thanks to the semitone incremental coarse tuning. Of course, if you need to tune to other oscillators, the fine tune will help dial in the right amount along with a glide control for more expressive portamentos into notes rather than hard steps.
