Valco Five-O Pedal

Five-O from Valco FX is a surf-guitar-in-a-box pedal with a drive, tremolo and reverb section modeled after Dick Dale and The Ventures. The drive section is designed to have a natural overdriven sound, similar to an amp with a tone knob that gives you a gentle roll off for the highs and lows depending on which side of noon you turn. Drive goes into a dedicated Tremolo section with four waveshapes: short square, square, triangle, and sine wave. Adjustable Rate and Depth ensure you get the proper amount of rhythmic undulation or gentle motions.

After that, a Reverb section tucks everything together using a spring-like tonality that can get fairly intimate as well as quite spacious. A Unique Pre button exists so you can actually shuffle the Reverb circuit all the way to the beginning of the pedal, meaning the reverb will go through the Drive and Tremolo section for a more lofi, gritty sound. Easily one of the most versatile pedals out there, it gives you everything you;d need in a pedalboard, but inside a single pedal. Each section has its own dedicated footswitch you can truly keep it as separated as you'd like. Five-O from Valco is a fantastic all-in-one pedal.
