RME Fireface 802
Fireface 802 FS builds on the legacy of the Fireface 800, introduced by RME in 2004, adding features and updating its already powerful performance. It is a 60-channel USB 2.0 interface with up to 30 x 30 connectivity. Four combination XLR/TRS jacks are available on the front with high performance, low noise preamps with variable gain, borrowed from the OctaMic II. On the rear, you'll find eight balanced line level inputs as well as two ADAT ports that accept up to 16 channels at 48kHz or eight channels at 96kHz, as well as an AES/EBU input and output. Outputs are available on eight line level TRS jacks, AES/EBU, and optical ADAT.
The integrated AD/DA converters feature jitter suppression that can provide up to 192kHz resolution with ultra low noise performance and 118dBA of dynamic range. The Fireface 802 is optimized to pair with RME's TotalMix FX, which provides full control over level, EQ, speaker switching with calibrated levels, reverb/delay bus, plus zero latency monitoring. RME products are renowned for their performance and reliability and the Fireface 802 is no exception, providing incredible quality and a fantastic way to interface digital and analog audio.
