Divided into three sections, the Stage 4 gives you completely redesigned sound engines for the Piano, Organ, and Synth sections. Designed to work with the new Triple Pedal 2 and Sustain Pedal 2 with dedicated inputs, while featuring the latest Triple Sensing Keybed, the Nord Stage Piano is great for stage or studio.
The Piano engine has a huge collection of grand and upright pianos along with electric piano and clavinet sounds with added string resonance features and pedal noise for an authentic acoustic sound and performance feel. Based on the same engine used in the powerful Nord Wave 2, the Synth section features three independent layers and uses sample-based, virtual analog, FM, and wavetable synthesis to create timeless sounds. The Organ section has Nord's award-winning simulations of the B3, Vox, Farfisa, and pipe organs, including physical drawbars with LED indications and rotary speaker emulation.
Nord's Stage 4 finishes the audio path with a brand new Effects section, with independent sections for each layer. Effects include: six reverb types including cathedral and spring, a new Spin effect, Pump effect, and several delay options, along with others.
