Joranalogue Enhance 2
Management of your stereo patches just became a whole lot easier, thanks to the thoughtful design of Joranalogue's Enhance 2 Stereophonic Enhancer. With the rising popularity of stereo Eurorack modules, there's a proportionally growing need for elegant ways to manipulate stereo image and apply mid/side processing, all of which Enhance 2 aims to deliver.
By patching in a mono or stereo signal into the Left and Right inputs, the first controls offered are Balance and Width, respectively controlling the panning and spread of stereo audio. From there, both channels are transformed into their Mid and Side components, with tilt filtering available for boosting or cutting bass or treble frequencies in each. This is incredibly helpful for clearing out muddy frequencies in the sides, or enhancing a central bass element. There are also dedicated outputs available for applying external effects or processing to the central or fringe components of your audio. With the associated inputs, patching Mid and Side signals back into Enhance 2 converts them back into standard Left and Right audio channels, priming them for your final mixing stage or output of your system.
Designed for the synthesist with spatialization in mind, Enhance 2 from Joranalogue offers both convenience and a world of possibilities.

Joranalogue's unique approach to synthesizer design leaves a lot open to the performer's imagination. Rather than building straightforward, conventional sound sources, controllers, or processors, they instead make highly multi-functional modules that can cover a lot of different ground in any given patch. While that can be inspiring for some, it might be intimidating for others...but luckily, Boris is here to show us the way.
In this demo, Boris shows how a number of their modules can interact to create everything from evolving sound design to high-controlled rhythms and beyond. If you're into super powerful, performable modular synths—and hey, who isn't?—then you're gonna want to take a long hard look at what Joranalogue is doing.
