EHX Eddy Chorus / Vibrato Pedal
Building upon their long history of analog modulation effects pedals, Eddy from Electro-Harmonix boasts plenty of modern tricks for exploring new territories of chorus and vibrato effects. Like their Memory series of delays and Clone series of chorus pedals, Eddy utilizes bucket-brigade delay (BBD) chips which deliver a distinctive audio character heard in countless classic pedals over the years. Where Eddy steps things up is its ability to modulate the rate or depth of the effect utilizing an envelope follower. This offers plenty of potential for responsive modulation effects, based upon the dynamics of your playing. Alternatively, plug in an expression pedal for manual control over rate and depth while playing. Additionally, Eddy offers a Shape control, skewing the symmetry of the modulation waveform for rising or falling vibrato and chorus effects. While it draws plenty of inspiration from iconic modulation effects, Eddy is a chorus pedal fit for modern pedalboards.
