Doepfer A-168-1

Doepfer's A-168-1 is a novel comparator-based module that creates modulatable pulse signals from any incoming signal: hence its designator, the Pulse Width Modulation Generator. Just apply any sloped VCO or LFO signal (triangles and saws work great), and the module produces a rectangle waveform with continuously variable pulse width: users may even control the output pulse width with a control voltage, enabling PWM effects with oscillators that otherwise do not incorporate that feature. 1980s basslines await!
