The SMARTClock Gen3 from Disaster Area Designs is a tap tempo and MIDI clock pedal providing an easy way to get multiple devices in your pedalboard marching along in time together. Despite its compact format, SMARTClock is capable of synchronizing up to four tap-tempo pedals and even more MIDI clock capable devices. Simply tap the footswitch to set the tempo of multiple devices, or dial in specific BPM amounts with the knob control. Clicking the knob lets you configure clock division settings for each output, all of which can be saved as a preset for complex controls schemes at the push of a button. Arrange transitions with preset changes by holding the footswitch, letting you instantly switch the configuration to meet the demands of your music in the moment. The SMARTClock can also send MIDI program changes, making it a handy tool for setting effect presets and more.
