Interfacing TRS cables among the many TS connections in a modular synthesizer can be tricky, but Der Mann mit der Maschine's TRS Tool aims to solve several of the headaches you might encounter in your patches. The top portion of the module is a handy TRS Split/Merge section: patch a TRS cable into the middle jack to get access to the Tip signal at the top or the Ring at the bottom. Of course, this works in the other direction too, allowing you to easily split or merge audio and CV signals. Next is a TRS multiple, allowing you to make three copies of signals across TRS jacks, such as stereo audio, TRS MIDI, and more. Finally, the bottom offers a handy A/B Swapper, which can reverse left and right audio channels, convert between Type A and B TRS MIDI, and more.
