WAV Recorder, from 4ms, is a high-quality stereo .wav recorder for eurorack modular synthesizers. It enables users to record samples from their modular synthesizer or external signals onto a microSD card as well as playback recordings or other .wav files. Additionally, it doubles as a pre-amp for boosting line-level signals, allowing for the easy integration of other instruments and signal sources. WAV Recorder is configurable to stereo or mono, 96kHz or 44.1 kHz, and either 24-bit or 16-bit. It features a continuous recording capability that automatically segments longer recordings into files of up to 4GB. Couple this with the fact that recording time and file amount are solely dependent on the amount of space available on the SD card and the sheer usefulness of this module becomes apparent. The module connects to 4ms’ Listen modules for easy direct recording and ships with a 16GB microSD card.
