With the clever Patch ecosystem by Flock Audio, you'll never have to get lost in complex patchbay arrangements thanks to its flexible digital routing control. As far as signal connections are concerned, Patch operates like any normal, analog patchbay, but the difference is that rather than using physical cables, routing configurations may be stored and recalled through the companion Patch App. So long as you maintain a USB connection between the Patch hardware unit and your Mac or Windows computer, you can assign and label hardware inputs and outputs to create cascading arrangements that would be incredibly difficult to achieve with traditional patchbays.

The Patch hardware unit itself is robust and loaded with plenty of connection points for even more developed studios. With a total of 64 patch points, you can easily route between 32 input sources and 32 output destinations, and the Patch hardware utilizes DB25 connectors to keep a compact, single rack-unit profile. But for trying out new gear, there's a pair of XLR inputs and outputs on the front, which may be selected for use in the Patch App. There's also phantom power available to keep your condenser microphones working happily, or to support other units like in-line microphone preamps. 21st century studios sometimes need modern solutions, and so the Patch system by Flock Audio is perhaps the best way to support complex and recallable routing schemes.
