AXXENT from WMD is an expander for the Metron, perfect for expanding this already powerful trigger and gate sequencer. The 16 additional gate outputs correspond to the 16 tracks on Metron. Adding an accent note is as easy as pressing the select button and tapping on the button of the step you wish to accent. Modules that feature an accent input, like the WMD Chimera or Crater, will output a louder signal when they receive a gate signal at the accent input. It can also be used to create complementary rhythms—for example, adding quarter notes to a steady 16th note hi-hat pattern to create a four on the floor kick drum pattern. Expand your Metron with an extra 16 gate outputs to unlock another dimension of gate and trigger sequencing.
