The WA-47 is a vacuum tube, transformer balanced, large diaphragm condenser microphone with nine polar patterns. Inspired by the classic '47, widely considered to be one of the best microphones ever made, the WA-47 is perfect for use in professional studios, home studios, and broadcast applications. Its carefully-manufactured capsule, TAB-Funkenwerk transformer, capacitor configuration, and JJ 5751 vacuum tube (straight from the Slovak Republic) make it ideal for capturing a wide variety of external audio sources, including vocals, acoustic and electric guitars/basses, strings, woodwinds, and of course—piano.
