Sennheiser specifically created E 906 to be a high-quality solution for capturing sounds of the guitar amplifiers, but it also performs exceptionally well for percussion and brass instruments. E 906 is a dynamic microphone with a supercardioid pickup pattern. A wide frequency range of 40Hz–18kHz and fast transient response guarantee that the mic will pick up even the subtlest nuances of the sound. The shape of E 906 was precisely engineered to be placed flat against the amp/cabinet. Moreover, for even greater control over the sound the mic features a dedicated three-position character switch: bright, moderate, dark.
