Expertly crafted to the original specifications in collaboration with the original designer, Martins Saulespurens, Monheim has brought back this studio classic in all its capsule-swapping splendor. For the uninitiated, the Blue Bottle Microphone offers an exceptionally engineered tube microphone design with swappable capsules, allowing for an incredibly versatile sound character that enhances every session. With one dependable platform, you can get vocals or any instrument mic'd in just the right placement, then easily swap capsules when you need a different sound, letting your creativity flourish without stopping the session for a full mic swap.

Key to the Bottle System sound is a hand selected NOS vintage EF86 tube, imparting exceptional harmonic enhancement on any source. The microphone comes equipped with a K67 capsule by default, with additional Monheim capsules including CK12 and M7 variants which offer different sonic profiles. The K67 is a fantastic all-around capsule that sounds exceptional on vocals, while the CK12 is derived from Monheim's ultra-smooth Crème microphone, and the M7 provides a German-made, darker sound. In addition to these Monheim capsules, the new Bottle system is backwards compatible with the original Blue capsules as well as the Neumann capsules of yesteryear, ensuring these time-tested units continue to offer value to studio lockers old and new. Even further, Monheim has indicated plans to collaborate with other manufacturers, opening up the Bottle platform to a new era of capsule creativity.
