MOD POD distils the core expressive MIDI functions—pitch bend, modulation, sustain, and aftertouch—into a portable device built to keep tactile control of sound within reach wherever you're working. It came out of a desire for a fun, functional companion for the moments when production collapses down to a laptop: something a lot of people had described without ever finding.

The panel carries a pair of wheels for modulation and pitch bend, two assignable knobs, a pressure pad for aftertouch, a sustain button, and a Mode switch for the sustain behavior (Latch, Smart, and Tight modes). MOD POD transmits and receives over USB-C and a pair of 3.5mm TRS MIDI jacks, so it slides into a set-up running on hardware, software, or some mix of the two. Power comes over USB in every case, so a computer, wall adapter, or battery pack needs to be in the chain even when you're driving hardware on its own. When your making music on the move, MOD POD is here to make every interaction more expressive.
