On the more esoteric side of sound capturing devices, Leaf Audio's Geophone S is a seismic sensor that may be affixed to various objects or the ground for picking up all sorts of rumbles and undulations. This S version of the Geophone can capture frequencies as low as 28Hz all the way up to 1000 with a sensitivity of 28V/m/s. Use it by itself or in conjunction with a standard mic for expanded frequency range, the Geophone-S is exceptional for sound design, foley, and experimental music applications. Included is a protective case, magnet, suction cup, clamp, and spike probe.
