Moon 4-Channel Rhythmic Instrument
Landscape Moon
Landscape has once again teamed up with our pal Eli at Mystic Circuits to create the Moon, a 4-channel version of the Noon Passive Drum Machine. Electronically passive and touchplate festooned, Moon offers analog circuits that get momentarily excited by incoming Gates and other signals, which can be further manipulated by CV and flesh contact. External audio can be fed into channels 3 and 4 to be processed with those specific circuits, and two audio outputs allow for a lovely stereo spread with channels 1 and 3 on the left channel and 2 and 4 on the right.
Using creative patching and experimenting with CV inputs for the channels, you can get percussive, droney, and synth sounds that are unique to the sonic sphere of the Moon. Play around with the length of the CV that gets fed into the channels and marvel at the wide array of colors you can create. Voltage can be shared between channels, and feedback patching is possible to create deep textures perfect for sound designing. If you are looking for a fun, portable, and wildly unique percussive device to integrate into your set-up, the Moon from Landscape is what you need.
