It uses CAT5e cables terminated with etherCON connectors to deliver signals with a high degree of immunity to noise, meaning you can take advantage of absurdly long cables runs without the potential for interference in your signal. This quality of connection gives you clear, accurate MIDI transmission all the way up to the max CAT5e cable length of 1000m, sixty-six times the maximum length of standard MIDI connections.

Each box comes with its own standard 5-pin MIDI In and Out port for sending or receiving data however you choose. Simply connect your MIDI compatible device to one Line Driver Pro, connect the included power supply, and run a CAT5e cable into the other Line Driver Pro along with your receiving (or sending) MIDI device. Power is supplied to the second unit via the CAT5e cable, freeing up the need for any additional power, meaning the Line Driver Pro can fit perfectly into wherever your MIDI compatible gear finds itself.
