The OLED screen and encoder allows for easy monitoring of MIDI information and preset selection. The mioXL can save and recall up to 32 presets without the use of a computer to allow for fast and easy transitions from one task to another. The ethernet connectivity allows for up to 330ft/100m of space between the mioXL and the connected computer. iOS devices can also be connected to the mioXL using USB (via the camera connection kit), Ethernet, or wifi. The RTP/network-MIDI allows for simple renaming of the 22 network ports, which allow them to show up in your DAW any way you want.
