Instead, Steampipe's three primary sections work together to generate air and mouth sounds which then are processed with feedback and delay to create ethereal tones. At its core, Steampipe combines noise generation, resonant filtering, and an envelope generator to shape the timbral character of your sound. The DC/noise generator may also be replaced with an external input for further experimentation. Drift and glide controls affect stability and tonal movement of your playing.
