Zoom's M4 is a portable, four-track 32-bit floating point recorder that is perfect for dialogue and music alike, with a design that is easily held and mounted with very low handling noise. Using the same F-series, low-noise preamps found in their portable recorders, the M4 features two XLR/TRS combo jacks that lets you connect external mics for pristine audio quality. External mics are not necessary for great recording thanks to the built-in XY unidirectional mic capsule. Don't worry about adjusting the gain thanks to dual AD circuits that automatically adjust the recording level. With timecode generation built-in and line out for connecting to cameras, the M4 is a filmmakers dream. Connect to a computer for exceptional recording, streaming, and video calls using the USB-C connection.
