The H6studio from Zoom is an ultra-portable recorder packed with studio quality preamps for capturing the highest quality recordings on the go. It features four XLR/TRS combo jacks, each of which contain F-Series preamps, which provide crystal-clear audio (-127 dBu EIN) whether you're recording instruments DI, or recording your environment with a microphone. The included 19.4mm XY mic capsule captures super-accurate representations of your sounds, offering an exceptionally flat frequency response along with 123 dB of dynamic range, and can handle up to 140 dB SPL. The H6studio's mics are a perfect X/Y stack, providing the lowest possible phase cancellation to capture great-sounding recordings every time.

Prevent the potential for clipping from the jump with the 32-bit float recording option, along with the additional 16/24-bit recording modes for whatever suits your needs best in that moment. The optional "look-ahead" limiter removes the potential for clipping in 16/24-bit modes as well, limiting the sound before it ever makes it onto your recording. Set the sample rate to capture your sounds anywhere from 44.1 to 192 kHz for getting the highest quality recordings necessary for the job. The H6studio is capable of recording up to eight tracks at once—six individual tracks, along with a stereo mix track. On top of all that, it can act as an audio interface for Mac, iOS, Windows, and Android, and can support 32, 24, and 16-bit recording in that operating mode as well.
