On the rear panel, the HS4 features controls for perfecting the sound in your specific listening environment. There is a room control switch that reduces gain under 500 Hz to minimize low-end rumble that can occur when monitors are placed close to walls. Additionally, there is a high trim switch which can boost or attenuate frequencies over 2 kHz to shape high frequency information in a way that suits the character of your room. Inputs for XLR/TRS, stereo 3.5mm, or RCA allow you to pair HS3s with almost any gear set-up, from USB interfaces to DJ mixers.
