Bus Rider from WMD is a compact end-of-chain EQ and dynamics processor designed to give your submixes or main mix that studio-grade sound in a performance environment. At the top of the module, you can switch between three sets of controls for isolation EQ, dynamics processing, and a dedicated limiter, packing a ton of features into a compact, 4hp package. The 3-Band Isolator EQ gives you a +12dB boost or total cut for each band, with shift-function crossover control, enabling DJ-style sculpting with a musical tone to bring out independent elements in a complex mix. With the mode switch set in the central position, you get a multiband compressor with controls for threshold and ratio in each band, providing a powerful tool for shaping how dynamics respond in each frequency area. Finally, the lookahead limiter is perfect for pushing your mix to its fullest potential, with gain, ceiling, release time, and saturation controls.

In addition to stereo inputs and outputs on the front panel, Bus Rider features connections on the back for integrating it into a Performance Mixer MKII set-up. You also get CV jacks for low cut control and an assignable CV function, allowing for automated movement that keeps an important parameter accessible in any mode switch position. Save up to 9 presets for all these settings, making it easy to recall your favorite set-ups when switching between projects, or even during performance.
